    BREAKING NEWS:

    Important News for Veterans

    This week it was announced that Veterans who served overseas for at least 90 days in 2009 would be granted a six (6) month extension on the $8000 Tax Credit. 

     

    MY THOUGHTS ON THIS:  I think this is a compromise of NOT extending the tax credit to everyone else (it would be hard to argue that veterans should not get this and thus it gets lawmakers off the hook to extend it for all others). 

    I DO think that a new tax credit program will come out next year (spring-ish) but my personal opinion is, there will not be an extension for all other First Time Home Buyers until then.  Please understand that this is only my opinion at this time.  I will continue to keep you updated as more details emerge.
